Point of Sale (PoS)
The Reseller Application within FARA Point of Sale (PoS) is an application used by retailers to sell tickets and load funds onto customer accounts.
The Reseller, Point of Sale application supports:
- Sign on (username and PIN code or operator card and PIN code) and sign out
- Sale of tickets
- Cancellation of sold tickets
- Loading funds onto the customer account’s purse
- Application lock
With PoS, both single journey tickets can be printed by the POS with an Aztec Code for validation by the Ticket Inspection app, in addition to the sale of pre-made limited use fare media.
The reseller application within our Point of Sale (PoS) set-up includes:
- An android device
- NFC Card reader and Barcode reader
- Printer for tickets and receipts

Product and Fare Loading
Both can be uploaded by the Reseller Application.
Seamless Settlement
The Reseller Application ensures all sales are registered and invoiced to the reseller, according to their agreement with the service provider.
