SmartHUB

The SmartHUB is a communication gateway and integration hub which integrates with your onboard devices, such as Validators, TFT screens, LED displays, audio, communication, printer, APC sensors, I/O and the Microphone+Speaker. The SmartHUB has built-in connectors for CAN bus interface and can connect directly to the vehicle CAN FMS bus, enabling monitoring of the vehicle.

FARA SmartHUB integrates with the vehicle using European ITxPT standard connectors. This ensures easy and streamlined installation.

Supported ITxPT services include:

• MI – Module Inventory
• Time – Time synchronization service
• GNSS – Position services using market leading UBlox GPS for best possible precision
• FMStoIP – Data collection from FMS/CAN bus
• VEHICLEtoIP – Data collection from vehicle, including door signals etc.
• MQTT – Message Queueing Telemetry Transport Broker for Over-The-Air (OTA) Communication

SmartHUB includes high-precision GPS, with simultaneous reception of up to 3 GNSS systems (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou). This ensures that the 3D ADR GNSS chip includes speed, gyroscope, and accelerometer to always be able to produce a precise position regardless of changes in speed and direction (both vertical / horizontal) – even when the satellite signal is completely blocked.
