FARA Light Validator+ (FLV+)

Designed to function on buses, trains and in kiosks, the FARA Light Validator+ (FLV+) provides multimedia ticket validation for smart cards and mobile or paper 2D barcodes, making travel even easier for your passengers.

​​The FLV+ Validator is quick and easy to install, and can either be pole mounted at the vehicle’s doors to allow self-service, or RAM mounted on the driver’s dashboard. The FLV+ is Power over Ethernet (PoE) enabled, but may also be connected using a separate power input 9 – 36V DC. There is a choice between ethernet or USB communication, for even more flexibility.

Once set-up, the FLV+ validates ISO/IEC 14443 type A&B Smart Cards (MIFARE and Calypso) and Mobile and Paper 2D barcodes (QR, Aztec, Data Matrix etc.)​

It comes with a large, colour touch-screen for an easy user interface, ​and is designed to withstand the elements with an IP54 rating, with an optional rubber bumper around the QR code reader to protect the glass.​
