Company info

In old Norse, FARA means to travel. FARA is a customer oriented technology company. It is our aim to improve quality of life, make the environment greener and meet passenger expectations. We do this by making travel easier for passengers, operators and public transport authorities.

End-user experience is at the heart of our operations by listening to the end users` needs and requirements. That enables us to offer attractive, innovative and user-friendly solutions. FARA products are proven, secure and ready for the future. 

Today, FARA has over 14,000 installations, 19,000 bus drivers use FARA solutions every day, and more than 306 million ticket transactions are made every year. Our corporate headquarters are located in Trondheim, Norway and we have offices in Oslo Norway, Warsaw Poland, Oulu Finland and Sønderborg Denmark. Since late 2019 FARA is part of the Ticketer family.
