Norwegian Transparency Act

1. Focus

The Norwegian Transparency Act is focused on Business Transparency and Efforts on Fundamental Human Rights and Decent Working Conditions.

2. Law
The law came into effect in Norway from July 1, 2022. It aims to ensure that the public has access to information on how businesses handle actual and potential negative consequences that can be associated with the business, either directly or through their supply chains and business partners.
